Do I need my library card to check out materials?

Yes, the process is more accurate and more efficient when using the card. Your name may be similar to another patron’s name in our statewide consortium, but your card number is unique. We will check out items with a valid photo ID. If your card is lost, a replacement is available for $2.00

Check out periods, renewals, late fees and limitations.

The check-out period for all items is three weeks.

You can renew items once for an additional three weeks.

Magazines and items with historical value cannot leave the library or be checked out.

To renew items, you may log in online with your library card, call the library or stop in.

As of June 2021 we are fine-free! Materials will still have due dates, but there will be no fines on items returned late. If you provide us with your email address, you will receive a reminder the day before your items are due.
