Welcome to the Y-A page!

We welcome your suggestions! If there is a title (or series) you would like the library to offer, please see any staff member to make your suggestion or email the Children's Librarian.

How to Locate Young Adult Books

YA FICTION is located on the first floor – we have one entire shelving unit just for YA fiction. Look for the "Young Adult" sign posted on the end of the fiction shelving units.

YA fiction titles are identified as "FY" on the spine label and in the OPAC.

YA NON-FICTION is shelved (inter-filed) within the adult non-fiction collection in the third floor reference area.

Young adult non-fiction titles are identified with a "Y" call-number prefix on the spine label.

Our YA collection is continuously being updated, so you're bound to find something new just about every time you visit the library

Internet and Word Processing

Young adults may use the computers in the Reference Room. Just be sure to sign in at the Reference Desk.

Not sure what to read next?

We have bibliographies available that are subject or genre specific.
